Privacy Policy

This policy covers Empathie Care’s website, PWA, and native test builds using the same service. Empathie Care is an adult self-help pilot for everyday reflection. It is not therapy, diagnosis, emergency response, or a service with live human monitoring.

本政策适用于 Empathie Care 网站、PWA 及使用同一服务的原生测试版本。Care 是面向成年人的日常自助梳理测试产品，不提供诊断、治疗、紧急救援或真人实时监护。

1. Local reflection / 本地梳理

Without an AI connection, your reflection text, mood selection, and unsaved note drafts remain in the current page’s memory. They are not sent to an AI provider. Active conversations are not automatically saved as notes. Closing or reloading the page clears this in-memory content.

未连接 AI 时，自主梳理文字、心情选择及未保存的小记仅在当前页面内存中处理，不发送给 AI。完整对话不会自动保存为小记；关闭或刷新页面会清除这些内存内容。

2. Saved notes and backups / 小记与备份

Notes you explicitly save are encrypted on your device using your passphrase before being stored locally. The app does not upload saved notes or the note passphrase, and does not provide cross-device synchronization or passphrase recovery. The passphrase and encryption key remain in memory while unlocked.

You may delete individual notes or clear the app’s local data in settings. Exported encrypted backups remain wherever you saved or shared them and must be deleted separately. Clearing browser data or uninstalling may remove local notes. Encryption cannot protect an unlocked screen or a compromised device.

主动保存的小记先用你的口令在本机加密。小记与口令不会上传；不提供跨设备同步或口令找回。可删除单张小记，或在“我的”中清除本机资料。导出的加密备份需要你另行删除。清除浏览器数据或卸载可能删除本机小记；加密无法保护已解锁的屏幕或被入侵的设备。

3. Optional AI processing / 可选 AI 处理

AI is available only when enabled for the pilot. Before connecting, you must confirm that you are at least 18, provide an invitation code, and agree to the in-app processing notice. Starting AI creates a new conversation and does not upload earlier local reflection.

When you send a message in AI mode, up to the most recent 12 conversation messages, your chosen support mode, and your manually selected region are sent through Empathie’s server. Conversation content is processed by OpenAI to generate replies and perform safety checks. Saved notes and note passphrases are not included. The invitation code is used by Empathie to authorize access and is not included in the model request. Region selection is manual; the app does not request precise device location.

We request that model responses are not stored as retrievable response state. This does not mean zero retention by the provider. OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring data under its applicable controls. See OpenAI’s API data controls. Avoid unnecessary sensitive details and information about other people.

仅在内测开放、你确认年满 18 岁、输入邀请码并同意处理说明后，才可连接 AI。AI 模式会将最近最多 12 条消息、支持方式及手动选择的地区经 Empathie 服务端处理，并由 OpenAI 生成回复和进行安全检查。此前的本地梳理、小记和小记口令不会一并上传。请求设置不保存可查询的模型响应状态，不等于供应商零保留。

4. Operational information / 运行信息

Vercel hosts the website and API and may process IP addresses, request times, requested URLs, browser/device information, and operational logs. The app checks whether AI is available without sending your reflection text. To prevent abuse, the AI service uses an IP-derived identifier and temporary request counters in a configured Redis service. The per-IP counter expires after approximately one minute; aggregate rate and budget counters expire after approximately one minute or one day.

The PWA caches application files for offline use; its service worker does not cache AI requests or conversation content. This app does not include advertising trackers or analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal information or use conversations for behavioral advertising.

托管服务可能处理 IP 地址、请求时间、网址及设备等运行信息。AI 可用性检查不包含梳理文字。防滥用机制使用基于 IP 派生的标识和短期计数器。PWA 缓存应用文件以支持离线使用，不缓存 AI 请求或对话。本产品不包含广告追踪或分析 SDK，不出售个人信息，也不将对话用于行为广告。

5. Retention, providers, and security / 保留、服务商与安全

The current application does not maintain a transcript database or intentionally log conversation text. Active messages and invitation codes are held in page memory; disconnecting AI and clearing the session removes them from the page. This does not erase requests already processed by a provider. Local encrypted notes remain until deleted.

Hosting, AI, rate-limiting, and email providers process information necessary for their services and may operate outside your country. Their operational and security retention practices apply. We use HTTPS, access checks, and local note encryption, but cannot guarantee absolute security. If you contact support, we retain the correspondence as reasonably needed to resolve your request and meet legal or security obligations. We may disclose information we hold where legally required or necessary to protect rights and security.

当前应用不建立对话数据库，也不主动记录对话正文。断开 AI 并清空会话可移除页面内的消息及邀请码，但不会撤回服务商已处理的请求。服务商可能在你所在国家以外处理信息，其运行和安全保留规则适用。我们采用 HTTPS、访问检查及本地小记加密，但无法保证绝对安全。

6. Your choices and rights / 选择与权利

You may use local reflection and pause features without connecting AI. You can stop or disconnect AI, clear the session, delete notes, and remove exported backups. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold by contacting us. We cannot retrieve, decrypt, or delete notes stored only on your device. Please do not email sensitive reflections or your note passphrase when requesting support.

你可以不连接 AI，仅使用本地梳理和暂停功能，也可以停止 AI、清空会话、删除小记与备份。可根据所在地适用权利，联系我们请求查阅、更正或删除我们持有的个人信息。我们无法读取、解密或远程删除仅在你设备上的小记。联系支持时，请勿发送小记口令或不必要的敏感心事。

7. Adults only and policy updates / 成年人使用与政策更新

Empathie Care is intended for people aged 18 and over. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us for review and appropriate deletion. We will publish policy changes here and update the effective date. Changes to AI or data handling will be reflected in the relevant in-app disclosures.

Care 面向年满 18 岁的用户。如你认为未成年人向我们提供了个人信息，请联系我们核查并酌情删除。政策变更会公布于本页，并更新生效日期；AI 或数据处理变更也会更新相关应用内说明。
