Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Empathie handles information when you visit the DLS Magician product pages or use the public browser trial at empathie.ai/try/. It covers this public trial; it does not describe a separate cloud workspace or future account-based service.

1. Information processed in your browser

The trial processes the intent, title, field definitions, and sample form values you enter on your device. Parsing, previewing, importing JSON, and generating exports happen in your browser. The trial does not send this content to Empathie or an AI provider. It uses predefined rules and does not call an AI model.

No account or sign-in is required. The trial does not send invitations, create remote records, or provide team sharing. Please use sample information rather than confidential or sensitive data.

2. Optional local saving and exports

If you enable “Save on this device,” the trial stores one editor draft in this browser’s local storage. Sample values entered in the preview form are not included in that saved draft. This storage is not encrypted by the trial and may be accessible to others using the same browser profile.

Uncheck “Save on this device” to remove the saved copy; the current draft remains in the open tab. Without local saving, the draft remains in page memory until the page is closed or reloaded. You can also clear the website’s browser data.

JSON and HTML exports are files you choose to download. We do not receive a copy. You control their storage, sharing, and deletion; clearing browser data does not delete downloaded files.

3. Website and support information

Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes ordinary web-request information, which may include IP address, browser and device information, requested URLs, and request timestamps, to deliver and secure the website. If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and attachments and use them to respond and handle your request.

4. Use and sharing

We use information we receive to operate and secure the website, respond to support requests, and meet applicable legal obligations. Hosting and email providers process information as needed to provide those services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security.

The public trial includes no advertising trackers or analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal information or use trial content for cross-site behavioral advertising.

5. Retention and security

Local drafts remain on your device until you remove them or browser data is cleared. We do not hold a server copy to recover or delete on your behalf. We retain support correspondence only as reasonably needed to address requests, maintain relevant records, and satisfy legal or security requirements. Hosting providers manage operational logs under their applicable practices.

We use HTTPS for website delivery. No electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Protect your device and any files you export.

6. Your choices and privacy rights

You can use the trial without saving a draft, remove a saved draft, and delete exports yourself. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold. Contact us to make a request. We cannot access content that exists only on your device.

7. Children and changes

DLS Magician is a product-design tool and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

We will update this policy and its effective date when our practices change. Features involving cloud storage, accounts, or AI processing will require corresponding disclosures before they are offered under this policy.
